ohne Verdruss
bis zum Schluss,

welcher kommt nach zwei
Stunden oder drei.
Jeder, der zuerst noch frisch,
schreit plötzlich nach dem Mittagstisch.

Sat'day morning,
cares ignoring,
as one we all
play featherball.

With spirits high
and naught a sigh,
we run in peace
until we cease,

while clock's hand circles twice
or thrice.
Then all that's able,
Walks to the table.
